Surrey scopes are often long trench runs rather than single excavations, so dewatering has to advance with the crew instead of being rebuilt at every stage. We design phased drawdown that follows the work, and we select methods for the silt and fine sand common through the lowlands, where wellpoints with correct filter media hold up better than open sump pumping.
Why the cheapest quote is rarely the lowest cost
A lower dewatering quote usually means something was left out. Pumping that cannot hold drawdown once inflow rises. No treatment step for water that was always going to need one. No allowance for the sampling your discharge authorization requires. Those gaps do not show up as line items. They show up as a stalled trench, a second mobilization, or a discharge shut down partway through. On a servicing schedule where a week of delay costs more than the dewatering scope itself, that is a bad trade. We scope the full chain up front and tell you where the risk sits before you sign.
